Tom Papathanassiou
Physiotherapist
Tom completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2024 and holds an ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning accreditation. He plans to pursue a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy in the future.
Tom was Lead Physiotherapist for the Capital Athletics (ACT) team at the 2025 Australian Athletics Championships in Perth and has worked across multiple team sports, including football, basketball, rugby, and soccer. He recently travelled as team physiotherapist with the U20 WA State Basketball Team to the National Championships in Victoria. During his studies, he gained experience as Head Trainer for the West Perth WAFLW program and Joondalup Giants Rugby Club.
An athlete himself, Tom was Athletics Captain at Hale School (2020) and has long been involved in football, athletics, and running. His own knee surgery in 2023 sparked a passion for lower limb rehabilitation and end-stage return to sport. He believes in tailoring treatment to each individual to achieve optimal outcomes.
Outside of the clinic, Tom enjoys running, playing footy, and spending time between the beach and the gym.
